This was reported to me by a professional florist and this is my second bottle. This product is like magic. You will regret not knowing this for the rest of your life! If you love cutting flowers from your garden, this is what you need. This allows you to prune lilacs and hydrangeas or any plant with a woody stem and extend the lifespan. It's just a quick way to dip a fresh cut and then put it in water (with flower food). It lasts much longer and does not fade immediately. I guess the first bottle lasted 3-4 years. And I've used it quite a bit.
