Love It! Sharing a little common sense about refrigerators and freezers

I have ICECO and now Ausranvik's. I intend to get more of the Ausranvik. I like the way it is laid out inside better the light is really bright and illuminates the whole inside. (ICEGO light is dark blue, useless) I only buy these portable freezers with the SECOP/Danfoss compressor as they will last forever and they run quietly. The outside panel is nice, and easy to read and use once you understand that you have to hit the unlock icon before making any changes. I like the handles better than the ICECO - the ones on the ICECO are spring type and they don't really pull out easily to horizontal.Now.I'd like to share a little wisdom how ANY frig or freezer works, whether it is your portable, or your big electric double door house frig. The temps are ALWAYS going to be different from the back of the frig/freezer than it is in the front. This is common sense Dear Ones! The door will always keep the temperature fluctuating from front to back, or bottom to top. Have you ever experienced that something in the back of the frig freezes, while the stuff in the front doesn't. Has your milk soured when it is kept on the door?To call this action a defect is incorrect. It is called science. Almost anyone with a chest type freezer knows they have to put some kind of barrier over the food storage area - albeit between the food and the door. Doing this keeps everything pretty much at the same temperature.frozen on top.frozen on the bottom. If your portable isn't doing that, then go to Home Depot and get yourself a roll of radiant barrier. It is aluminum foil silver on both sides with a little insulation in the middle. Cut out a piece to fit snugly on top of the food layers. Please do not malign a product when you yourself do not understand how something works.
