Review on 🦊 Efficient Food Prep: Fox Run 4-Sided Grater, 6-Inch, Metallic by Brittney Shallenberger

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what my grandmother had. not like in the photo!

Pretty good looking but far from the quality of the vintage it replaces. Much thinner metal and spot-welded rather than riveted handles are two downsides, but that's not all. I don't want to disagree with the other reviewer but since I do I would say it would be around 2 stars if the description said it's as good as vintage. My old grater weighs 6.5 ounces and this one weighs 5.3 ounces which may not seem like much but it is and this grater wobbles and bends easily because of it. It came well packaged but with three dents. 2 are on the side of the 3 piece knife. The handle is not the same as in the photo and the one I received has a plain piece of metal bent with the sides open. and no rounded edges for added durability. look at my picture I paid just over $7 from MMP, LLC and did Revain and if I had paid the current $15+ price I would be back today. and if it's not for the price I paid I would recommend passing it on. It's sharp and cuts well, but it's hard to hold because the handle is flimsy and it really bends when a 2lb block of cheese slides over it. Next time I'll buy a used classic car from eBay, a garage sale, or a thrift store. Unless you have one of Grandma's old ones (mine is from the 1950's) you would probably rate them higher than I do.
