I had an adjustable toe ring before which I was very happy with. It was very easy to set up. So light that if the silver caught on something it would fly wide and I lost it. In many ways this is an improvement. It's stronger and the "diamonds" are much more noticeable. However, it is very difficult to open and close and I read about some kind of toe ring (not sure what it is) that someone tried to open and it broke. Well I was afraid I would break it and wanted to return it. BUT I wanted it. So I tried my best, but carefully = bit by bit, and finally got my way. Now I haven't closed it as far as would be ideal (need pliers) but it works and I like it. If I ever take it off it will be winter if I wear tight shoes. The idea of following the seller's advice not to wear it in the shower and expose it to chemicals (soap, shampoo) is a joke. I would never fight that ring on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis! And luckily so far so good. If there is a reason for an update, I will.
