I don't think the previous homeowner ever cleaned the tall foyer light - it was covered in dust in 20 years. We had a 6 foot ladder and were able to spray paint the glass panels on the outside (it's a lantern style fixture with surrounding glass panels). However, I still saw dust on the inside of the glass, so we had to borrow my neighbors, climb the stairs and stand at the top of the fixture to sprinkle from the inside. The drip spray works very well! I used 2 1/2 bottles for my mount but I'm hoping if I keep this up (even with 1 use a year) I'll only need 1 bottle. Now I can turn on the light without embarrassment :) ALL THE DUST IS GONE. We used $3 wooden tablecloths to lay the tile on so the drip solution did the job. Great product and we will buy it again!
