A little disappointed.

So this vinyl requires a little more pressure to cut than my other vinyls and I've tried several brands. under the vinyl when layered. I lowered the pressure, lowered the temperature and it's still happening, albeit LESS. It doesn't matter whether it's just for yourself or the kids,,,,,, but I wouldn't want to sell anything with that stuff. I don't sell but this can be a problem for those who sell, is that terrible? No,,,,but after all the hype I've heard about this stuff I'm a bit disappointed, I will use it but the layering takes some thought,,,,,which I think works best with MY heat press works is to heat the first layers for 1-2 seconds at an average pressure of 285, for the last layer I heat at 285 for about 7 seconds. Make sure you can see the pattern of the fabric through the vinyl and you should be fine,,,,,the glue may still bleed a little but this is minimal at 285 when layered. I wouldn't layer more than 3 coats. To be honest I've had similar results with other cheap vinyls, it's fine for making t-shirts for yourself or grandkids and is amazing for single ply designs but I wouldn't sell multi ply designs with it, you can see the shiny edge that the glue oozes out.

Pros
  • embellishments and decorations
Cons
  • boring packaging
