I used to buy candy yarn so I knew what to expect in terms of size - they are tiny balls, about 3 inches long and the yarn is thin. Thicker than embroidery thread, but thinner than children's thread. I enjoy working with him on specific projects. However, I didn't expect it to be 12 balls of colorful yarn. The image here shows 12 different solid colors, which is what I wanted. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I was going to make colorful skeins (all different but all colorful). I'm sure I'll find a use for them over time so I'll keep them to myself, but I think there should be a separate list for plain and colorful threads in this one.
