I bought two of these kits and they are everywhere! I think I have night 4 or 5 and they all work great and are still bright. I have heard that batteries are difficult to remove but I will remove and replace batteries whenever they expire because of their appearance and like how it works. I'm hoping to find a way to change the batteries that isn't a hassle. UPDATE: I purchased and used 24 of these frameless spacers on August 23rd. They lasted until last night (although they were weak for two nights) to September 12th. I've been using them for 5 to 8+ hours each night so I'm happy with how they worked and lasted. Replacing all the batteries, which I did in about 20 minutes, is easy with a sharp object like a nail file, pocket knife, etc. There is no need to bang on the table to remove the battery. take them out. it's quick, easy. I'm ready for another three weeks with these lights at night. UPDATE #3: Something is draining the batteries when they are all turned off by the remote. If you turn them off with the remote (that's the whole point if you own them) and wait a few days (not weeks and months) to turn them back on, they won't turn on. Basically you have to replace all the batteries again. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend them. The concept is good. i like the size But what does it matter if they don't work properly and don't last long?
