This charger doesn't just look like the charger that came with the Surface Book 2 (and any other device that uses the Surface Connector). The reason it's better is because it's 102W, 15V, 6.33A. The standard charger is much more limited in comparison at 42W 12A (I forgot A). I've attached a picture showing that this charger also has a USB port for charging another device. I've also included a picture of it next to the standard charger so you can see it larger. It doesn't feel heavier, but a little emptier, but I don't see that as a problem. It can get it when you use the dedicated GPU (e.g. during gaming or video editing) and end up dying on you. The question is, will this charger be the solution? I'm not sure, but that's exactly what I'm going to test. Update: This is the only charger I use. My normal charger is in the closet. It charges faster and allows me to play games and run Premiere Pro (editing software) without the laptop dying. I believe this charger changed my life and I encourage all my Surface Book 2 friends to get one if you do anything that uses dedicated graphics.
