Mediabridge makes some really good product lines and this review follows up on two other ongoing reviews of digital and analog A/V cables Ugreen and BlueRigger. The RCA audio jacks are color coded (Purple + Red/White) which makes it easy to work with the EZ cable. Again, this is one of those "hard to find" cables in our area. Digital/Coaxial Y Adapter and Connector - On the back of your DVD player, subwoofer or HDTV and usually between the video connectors and analog connector. The RCA connectors are a small section called "Digital Out" and have a female "Coaxial" connector on one side and a female "Optical" connector on the other side for the cable. Legend - coaxial and optical (audio) cables/connectors are synonymous with the term "digital"; However, for your information, their plugs have a different design. Whereas RCA connectors are considered "analog" for audio/video applications. What are they used for? This Y adapter is for a coaxial digital output jack and the other end for an RCA cable to complete your audio system component e.g. B. from your DVD player to HDTV or subwoofer to TV etc. Easy to set up EZ, no clarification needed.
