So you don't get a finished stool for the time being, just an outer cover that you can add cushions or blankets of your choice to. The material isn't very soft due to the beadwork, so more of a talking point. We filled it and made it our own. This is a fairly small footstool, not your usual height, it sits under the edge of the couch.
