can be selected (left eye in the picture below without stripes, left eye in the picture above with stripes). don't expect them to work, but they DO. I'm in love. One of my eyelids hangs much further than the other and this has always made my eye look much smaller and almost crooked. I put it on this eye and it looks much better. It's a subtle difference, but now I feel a lot better with this eye. They are very sticky and easy to apply once you get the hang of it. I cropped mine to better suit my eye. Would definitely order again!
