A friend gave me a record collection, but there was no opportunity to play. Step into this incredibly affordable turntable ($32 shipping) with built-in speakers and more. Not a single review about it, but the price is right. Also, I have a friend who has a very similar one from another company so I took a chance and ordered it at 5am and it got to my house at 4pm the same day. Insanity! My first impression is that it is well built for the price, plays all my records although many of them are old and scratched and all the many extras work. Here are some random positives. It comes with an extra needle, the clasp works securely and makes it very portable like a tiny suitcase, fun aqua colour, it's easy to use, the lid stays open when playing vinyl, the built in speakers are surprisingly good though I mean Must admit Expectations were very low and my 9 year old daughter thinks this is the coolest thing she has ever seen. She says it's very old fashioned. She likes to change records. In this digital age, doing things by hand can be incredibly rewarding. Who knew records were the new cool. :) Will it survive? Who knows but at this price and delivered straight to my house in about half a day if it lasts a few years I'm very satisfied.
