I am writing this review approximately four years after purchasing this product. It has been in constant use since I bought it and I am very happy with it. What made me finally write this review is that after moving to a new home I plugged this unit into an outlet and the unit immediately made a HUGE popping noise. Scared me half to death! After that event it didn't work at all. It turned out that the outlet was 240 volts instead of the usual 120 volts. For those who don't know, it's dangerous! If I plugged my computer into an outlet instead of a surge protector, I would lose my computer and everything on it. I am so thankful that the surge protector saved me from having to replace my computer. The cost of replacing the computer and all the files on it is MUCH more than the cost of replacing a network filter. They sent me a replacement free of charge. It's free! I didn't even have to pay for shipping! I am so impressed with the quality of the product and their customer service and the guarantee they offer on their products. Consider me a regular customer of Tripp Lite.
