Just received 6 of these today. At HD they were cheaper. That would have been acceptable since I was the contractor who built my house in 1983. Just to save a few bucks. Instead, he used 1/2 to 3/8 to connect a double faucet in the bathroom. So I installed the correct part (my late plumber brother Bobby would have been upset if it hadn't been done properly using a 1/2 to 3/8 compression water shut-off valve. Thought I'm not going to do anything .add, it didn't have to pass a code inspector, do it right or don't do it at all.
