Revainrating 4 out of 5

Solid panel, green but difficult to peel off

Overview. I bought these plates for a program where we serve meals once a week at the elementary school. Spacious plates allow kids to safely carry heavy meals like pasta and meatballs. I chose these because our school has reliable organic food and a composter, so I specifically looked for a plate that was biodegradable/compostable. / recyclable. (I later found out that the amount of slabs we produce exceeds the capacity of our composter, but it's good that we have something biodegradable/recyclable.) I chose these slabs because they fit my criteria were the best price I could find. in Revain Prime. Consideration depending on use. These plates are great for food that will be served immediately, but I have found that the plates loosen and become brittle when holding food for several hours (e.g. trying to eat it hours later). In our case, however, this is not a problem. (Maybe that's how all bagasse plates are made - I'm not sure.) Against. My only real issue with the plates is that they tend to stick and separate to ensure you don't accidentally spill food. for 2 or 3 plates instead of 1. In the fast moving queue we sometimes don't have that time. So if we have extra time before dinner, we separate and arrange the plates so that it's easy to take 1 (we don't always have). time, so I'm sure we end up unknowingly handing out more plates than necessary).

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
