Review on Magnifeko 1875W Professional Dryer Conditioning by Heather Collier

Fur. Liked my pharmacy model better

Eh. I've had a Revlon drugstore for years, this was the best $35 hair dryer I've ever owned. I finally decided to upgrade and realized that the technology has certainly changed since I bought my Revlon about 7 years ago. I spent days reading reviews trying to pick the best value for the little bit more money I wanted to spend this time. I wish I hadn't. This is a normal hair dryer. Completes the task of drying hair in a reasonable time. Nothing special. Nothing special. In fact, I believe my drugstore hair dryer has made my hair silkier and shinier, and I don't notice any difference in drying time or volume. Usually, product research pays off, but it's getting harder now that these companies have started paying five-star reviewers to rate their products. I can't say exactly what happened here. Maybe this hair dryer just isn't right for my hair type. But I expected a lot more than what I got for the price and the reviews. I could have spent half as much on a newer drugstore model and been happier, but then I'd still have "dryer upgrade envy" and wondered if I'd be happy with a more expensive pro brand. I even used it for a few months to make sure it wasn't just a phase my hair was going through and the results were permanent. Strangely, my hair frizzes the most when I use the airflow control attachment. So. Live and learn I guess.
