First, make sure you are using the included stand and screws correctly to mount the M.2. This was a little tricky as the riser is not attached. You need to position it under the right hole (or end) of the internal circuit board for the length of your M.2 drive. This will ensure that your drive is properly positioned and snug against the heatsink with the supplied spacers. With a Samsung Evo 980 I found it very tight, but the drive certainly makes good contact with the heatsink. In fact, the only downside is that they fit so tightly together that they creak a bit. Don't break the deal, I don't feel like it will pop out but not as much as I was hoping. However, it looks good. The main benefit is to look inward to see if your M.2 is properly positioned, not flexed, or too loose. In addition, the clear design is very stylish.
