Compatible with AC adapter but not a Dell adapter

The USB ports on this solar panel deliver approximately 1.3 amps in bright sunlight. 1 A if you have connected another USB device. The 12-volt cable that powers laptops and power adapters is independent of the USB circuit. You can charge the UCB power adapter and the AC power adapter at the same time without power loss. The disadvantage of a solar panel is that in hot weather you run the risk of burning the electronics if you place the unit in the sun. You'll need to build some sort of shelter if your device is covered, has ventilation, but the panel gets full sun. I placed my power supplies on a hay bale, placed two blocks of cement to the side, and then laid the panels over the blocks. It includes a compatible charging adapter for my Acer laptop but not my Dell (had to deduct a star as there is no option to purchase a compatible single pin adapter). You should also keep an eye on your devices if they don't have internal controls when fully charged. In bright sunlight, it was able to both use and charge my 65-watt laptop. The adapters are compatible with all major 12V charging ports. If you're preparing for an emergency, I highly recommend an AC power adapter to complement this solar panel. It is not advisable to take your devices out in the sun to charge, especially with the EOTWAWKI. It's safer to secretly charge your power bank and use it to power your devices privately. For daily cell phone charging, a simple 20,000mAh USB power bank will suffice, but be prepared to charge it for up to 15 hours in bright sunlight. I swap 2 power supplies and never use AC power.
