I'm a student and was just looking for a light and cheap blender for me to make my morning or afternoon drinks. For the price I think this is perfect for one person use as I personally don't drink too many smoothies. It's also pretty easy to use, although the reviews say can't figure out how to build it? You simply put on the blender lid and twist until it clicks into place and press down to blend - simple and easy. I used frozen strawberries and was really surprised at how efficiently and quietly it blended, thinking that for the price the blades might not be sharp enough for ice cream and frozen fruit. hope it lasts I love how quiet it is because I personally don't feel comfortable making noise in the morning while my roommates are still asleep so that's definitely a plus besides being lightweight, portable and easy to use. Cleanup is pretty easy too: just rinse the blade cap when you're done blending - just rinse and it's clean in seconds. No need to put your hands or cleaning tools in it. The only downside I can think of is that the size might be too small for people wanting to make large batches, but other than that I'm personally very happy with the blender.
