FAKE / fabric is slightly shiny.
Wish it had supports to make it more stable. I use mine as storage for the books I want to read and it works well for that purpose, but if you plan on using it for less durable or incomplete things like mine you might want to save your search. Also, the fabric shines a little when the sun shines on it. I would like a more subtle look. Wasn't enough to send it back, but to be honest it's not my favorite purchase.
