Perfect! Allows NVME drives to be used

I used this to install an NVME drive in my 2014 MacBook Pro. The performance is excellent! If you are looking for a good hard drive replacement solution for your MacBook, this is it! You'll also need to purchase an NVME M.2 drive (note only one notch on the connector, not two). I used a Samsung 970 NVME 500GB drive. Now that the disc prices have come down I can upgrade them. (Please note that you must upgrade your Mac to High Sierra before you can use this adapter. If you haven't already, you will need to find a way to do so as High Sierra will update the BIOS. Otherwise, the computer will not recognize your new drive.)
