A perfect product, then added a step to remove all fine dust particles from it. We did a great job removing the stuff left by the shop towel. We rubbed the surface with mineral spirits but still had a few fish eyes. It took me ages to figure out where it came from, but apparently we didn't use enough mineral spirits. The base layer was fine without them. then a fisheye bubble effect. looks like small bubbles caused by poly. Basically, the residue left by the towel causes poor adhesion in places and creates a bubble effect in the poly. I'm so mad at myself for trying to be a perfectionist and using this product. It would only be good to dry brush all the old polymer dust from the previous coat. I wiped it down with mineral spirits, who would have thought you'd have to use a super absorbent cloth and scrub to get the residue off.
