BG: I grew up with the original, reliable, simple metal Ecko vegetable peeler. For me it was the best ever in terms of usability. Its simple, no-nonsense design made peeling vegetables easy, fast and efficient. For too many years I could not find this model anywhere and struggled to find a reliable, comparable air purifier. I put a lot of money and energy into this hunt. Imagine my delight when I used this Linden Sweden Jonas Peeler for the first time last night! It worked just like my old (and I mean OLD) Eco! The handle felt longer, so I had to hold it a half inch or three-quarters of an inch closer to the peeling end. After making this small change, I was rewarded with proper tension, reliable and easy peeling of the carrots. I liked this peeler so much that I ordered it this morning.
