Bought to replace an old emergency light with a leaking battery and blown bulbs. This new emergency light arrived quickly, was well packaged, included all the necessary hardware (a couple of Phillips screws and plastic anchors to attach the back panel to the wall, plus about 3 screw cable connectors) and was fairly easy to install. You don't even have to read any instructions, all you have to do is remove the back panel and look inside to find 3 clearly marked (one neutral, one 120v and one 277v) wires (with pre-stripped ends) and a battery seen connector, which is disconnected from the board and needs to be reconnected before connecting the wires. Everything else is pretty much "common sense", especially if you've installed something similar in the past. A minor downside to all of this is the slightly high price - I really see no reason why it shouldn't be lower, especially given the somewhat "proprietary" NiCd battery and considering there are some cheaper options from other manufacturers are.
