I actually bought this because I have used one John Frieda product before and liked it. In the quest to find a regular-use shampoo that didn't dry the scalp, I landed back here. In two weeks, my scalp feels great and it also feels like my hair is back to life again. I paired this with the matching John Frieda conditioner, both of which I use three times a week. I alternate this product with its sibling, the John Frieda Straightening Shampoo (not a daily moisturizer). I didn't buy this product for its anti-frizz properties, as my hair is not of that nature. As of now, I believe I have found the perfect balance that will protect the hair and scalp.
