I have to say the proportions of this costume are a bit off. We bought a large one as my experience with the suits has shown that they are quite small and my son wears size 8 pants and a 10/12 shirt. Part of the body fit quite well. There may have been a 1/2 inch bulge in the middle which was tightened very nicely with the extra strap. Now the arms and legs were the strange thing. The sleeves were very long! And the legs were pretty long too. I was expecting pants but the sleeves just put me off as even my son who wears 14/16 shirts would have to pull them up a bit. Otherwise, my son really liked the suit and it held up quite well despite the rather thin material.
