Excellent quality finished ATV

Excellent quality ATV for hobby use. When you receive this quadcopter you will want to familiarize yourself with Cleanflight and learn how to program the flight controller and transmitter. You can start using it right away, but since it's not a toy drone, I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with how it works. Mine came with instructions for the switches Arris programmed into the transmitter, schematics for the flight controls, the video transmitter, and some flight notes. Also included was contact information for the Arris Hobby and a set of replacement frame decals. The transmitter has a 3-position switch to activate the quad and switch from level to acro mode, and the transmitter has a 2-position switch to activate the built-in horn so that you can find the quadrocopter. if you fall into tall grass or something similar. All switches can be changed in Cleanflight. These instructions are enough to get you airborne, but I'd recommend trying a simulator, or at least line of sight, first. for a really clean build, and the only minor complaints about the build quality that I have is the low quality glue used to glue the VTX and landing pads. The VTX comes with a dipole antenna, but I would recommend upgrading to a circular polarized antenna as soon as possible. The transmitter is excellent for the price of this setup and has many more features than the FlySky i6 I was considering. The flight controls have an integrated on-screen display that uses MWOSD, and Arris pre-programs it pretty well. The OSD menu can be changed in the field if you want to change the settings on the screen. The 1000TVL onboard camera looks good and works reasonably well in low light, with what I consider to be an acceptable noise level, and the included battery is a 4S with a good amount of power. If you want to modify it a bit for learning, I'd recommend trying the 3S. The only complaint I have about anything that comes with this setup is that the power adapter for the included charger melted the first time I used it. . This is a cheap power supply and I would not recommend it. Although the balancing charger itself is excellent. After I replaced the PSU it worked great. The seller even refunded me for the charger. Overall, this is a great hobby quad and it's badass. I've had some pretty violent crashes, it just keeps flying. The tower stack offers a really clean build, and the transmitter and components are head and shoulders above most entry-level race quads. Keep in mind that these ATVs aren't toys, they're a combination of hobbyist components, so a little research is required to really unlock the full potential of a setup like this. The initial setup guide that Arris uses to program the flight controller can be found online, as can motor specs, the Flycolor tower, and the transmitter manual.
