After our dog was neutered we tried one of these foam rings (instead of a cone) because we thought it would be more comfortable. By the second day she was clearly annoyed by it and was able to take it off a couple of times, so we ordered these jumpsuits. Not only does it fit her perfectly (we measured her and followed the size chart), it doesn't seem to bother her and it keeps her from getting to the slit. She weighs 10 pounds and wears average clothing.
