Works for independent work. Not perfect but it works

Scratched the lip of the trunk while reversing resulting in a cracked mold and a dent in the lip. It looked like it could be pulled out. For $50 I decided to try it myself. I've seen a few less expensive kits that only had squeegees but no glue gun or glue sticks for around $30; I've also seen separate glue guns that come with $20 glue sticks, so I went with this one, which had both (no real savings as I was looking anyway - just a convenience). I've watched a few videos of people using various similar tools, so I figured out what to do anyway. This kit included a bridge puller and a T-bar puller. Tried the bridge first with moderate success. The dent has popped out a bit. I then used a T-bar puller which worked better. Not a perfect job but fixed a deep dent. There is still a slightly bent dent in it which I will try to work out when I replace the molding torn by the dent. It's definitely not as noticeable as it used to be and I'm not a body repair professional so I'm happy with the results. I haven't tried using a hammer on the raised parts yet. Thought I might try them if I change the molding. FYI, the instructions aren't the best, but you can find instructions and videos all over the internet. I think I saw somewhere that the yellow glue sticks are for American and European cars and the black ones are for Asian cars. Has something to do with color and thickness (update: it's actually about weather/temperature. Look for more info). It also took some effort to remove the adhesive from the car and the attachments. I didn't have any alcohol in the spray can (all sold out due to Covid) but I did have a few tiny alcohol swabs and at one point I used some slime to get a thick ball I couldn't get my hands on. out. The plastic scraper is cheap and bends easily, but it worked in the end. I would suggest getting more plastic scraping tools as one of these may not cut itself.
