The Surface Pen for the Surface line is a powerful pen that I like to use for my notes on the Surface Pro 7. It runs on a single AAAA battery and doesn't charge by sticking it to the side of the Surface Pro, but the pen lasts a long time. I've had it for almost 2 months now and the battery life has gone from 90% to 88%. And I write a lot on this surface. So I feel like the stylus can survive the Surface Pro 7 and never run out of battery. It's a great accessory for a great laptop, and I think it does a great job for note-taking. It's pressure sensitive, so the more you squeeze, the harder your punches will get. I think it's a great drawing tool if you're an artist (although I haven't done much) and perfect for taking notes. It's so buttery smooth and works as intended. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do! I thought it would be a game changer compared to my iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. While I miss charging from the iPad to the pencil, I can do without it as the writing experience with this pen is flawless.
