Very strong magnet. So bad it came out of the CD player in my car when I tried to pick up my phone. New review update. After I wrote this review, the company contacted me. They offered to send a new block for free. I was impressed with the customer service and wanted to say hello and thank you. So far, this second device has held up better in the CD player than the first. Even if this device doesn't work, I will still order other products from them just for customer service.
