It's exactly as described, however there is only one problem. Once you have used the button to close the umbrella canopy you MUST completely compress shaft before it will reopen automatically. This can be an issue when you are running errands on a rainy day.The first time I used it not only was it raining, but it was windy too. It held up very well.
