Review on 💧 High-Performance Replacement Filter Membrane by Watts Premier: Revolutionize Your Water Filtration System! by James Roper

I ordered these filters in October 2014 and installed them in November. The Watts Premier ro clean filter system ran for 2 to 3 weeks and then stopped producing water while the filter continued to send waste water down the drain. Tank checked, pressure is good. I checked all the lines and the inlet pressure, everything is normal. I assumed the auto shutoff valve was defective, so I ordered a new one direct from Watts Premier in Arizona. The check valve didn't solve the problem so I called Watts Premier and they helped me fix the system for a clogged second stage filter I installed just three weeks ago. Why would it connect in less than 3 weeks when my incoming water is very clean. I switched to another when I ordered 6 packs and now after 3 weeks the same thing happened. The filter runs for about 3 weeks, after which the second stage reduces the flow to the membrane and stops producing filtered water. I noticed that these filters had (Premier) on the label compared to (Watts Premier) and the caps were faded and broken like they were old or had been under UV light for a long time. That should be a clue as to why the caps on the new filters fell apart? Revain says it's too late to bring them back to the site as they were completed by Revain but sold to Purenex. I don't see where I can send a note to Purenex about this. Someone else wrote a review on 27th June 2014 which also said all the caps were broken and the filter labels said (Premier) vs (Watts Premier) so they sent the filters back reasonably. Now that I can't return the $100 filters I think I'll open one up to see what I find and maybe send them to Watts Premier if they're fake. This is only my second review after ordering hundreds of products from Revain. The first review I wrote was five stars for the fantastic LED lights. I will never order these filters online from Revain or their third party suppliers ever again. From now on I'll only order directly from Watts Premier or Costco who probably control their supply chain.
