Fits in cupboard and turns on when doors are opened
I'm a contractor and do a lot of kitchen renovations. LED under cabinet lighting is now commonplace in our installations. I usually buy LEDs in rolls and a separate dimmable transformer that plugs into the dimmer's wall switch. In the last kitchen I built we had an appliance shed and I used this product in the appliance shed (plugged into an outlet on the back wall of the appliance shed itself). When the doors are opened, the IR sensor detects movement and turns on the light. on the. I placed the sensor on the back wall in the top corner so it wouldn't be visible when looking into the closet. Customers LOVE it. I will buy this anytime the leds in the cabinets need to turn on when the doors are opened.
