Received today as expected. Brought it to work but it does NOT work! There were batteries in it, I changed them, still nothing. Switched to another new set, nothing. The red light comes on and flashes, then stays on. Initially I had the key in my USB hub, tried different places in the hub and tried directly in the USB port, but nothing. The computer recognized it and said it was set up and then completed the setup and was ready to go. The cursor moved about an inch once, and that was it. Switched off and on several times. Key removed and reconnected several times. Absolute waste of money! Too bad because it felt good in the hand and the rubber side grips were good. I didn't like that it wasn't a soft or quiet click. I'll be back! UPDATE 20.11. I was finally able to get the mouse to work. I'm now using it again at work for another 10 hour shift. The problem is it does NOT like or work the mouse pad I'm using because I'm using a gel wrist rest. Since the mouse works and I have the opportunity to use it, I will say that it is convenient and I really like the scroll wheel! It's smooth and responsive and fits my hand perfectly! This is a soft-touch mouse with a silicone layer, which is nice too. I only wish I could use my mouse pad with it! Yes, and it's NOT a silent or soft click, which I much prefer. Otherwise not a bad mouse. Changing the rating to more stars! Definitely worth a try for the price! UPDATE #2 11/27: This is actually my favorite mouse to use during my 10 hour work shifts, even without a mouse pad (which I prefer). This mouse is responsive and feels good. She goes to sleep but you only have to press a button to wake her up, which happens instantly like many other mice I have. The sleep function doesn't bother me at all. But the shape of this mouse doesn't bother my wrist as I can't use a mouse pad with a gel wrist rest. I dropped it the last time I got home from work. About 4 feet to the concrete floor of the garage. I thought "Oh, #(%&*! Here's my mouse that I like now! But no. Still works great! No scratches! This mouse is great, feels great, great price and I know it it is durable!
