I've lost (forgotten) chargers while traveling, some of them have been damaged (usually the cable is destroyed by a dog, cat or smart vacuum cleaner) and I always want to have a power bank in my backpack and one on the table. That's the only negative for me, but then again, I've had and have had about a dozen chargers since my first Surface Pro 3, and only one has a detachable cable on this side.
