I was so excited to get these home but unfortunately they have not met expectations. The first issue was with the packaging — before being shrink wrapped, the pillows had been wrapped tightly with plastic packaging tape that was impossible to remove and covered the pillows in wide strips of left-over adhesive. I washed them twice (according to the instructions) before I was able to remove all of the adhesive, only to find out that they stink.The smell comes from the outer covering of the pillow. It's is a plastic-like poly material that smells like the off-gas from a cheap shower curtain — even after two rounds in the washing machine, it still smelled like chemicals. I'd planned to have these on the bed, but I won't be able to sleep on them because the smell is so overwhelming.The only positive is that they are at least very well stuffed and full.
