The case fully corresponds to the description. I use it to host an external Apple optical drive. It's flexible but withstands the moderate compression that would be inevitable in a tote bag. An external metal loop allows for attachment to the rest of the electronics needed to pass through the security system. This is a great feature that reduces the chances of getting lost.
