I have never flown or remote controlled anything. Maybe that's why I lost this tiny drone. I thought that I could fly with it pretty well, so I decided to go to the pasture where my horse lives and send it to play with my horse. I sat down after turning it on and syncing it with the controller. Everything seems "in place" and ready, so I pressed the "1" key and it took off. It took off and when I tried to press button 1 it just kept flying and was never seen again. We searched for this thing the rest of the day, then came back the next morning and searched for it to no avail. I can only guess that she flew off the mountainside because she wasn't grazing anywhere! a little confused thinking it shouldn't fly very far from the controller. At least so far. I don't know if it was something I did or just a malfunction of the drone itself. And I'm very glad I followed a friend's advice and got a cheaper drone for my first drone. I would be very upset if I spent $150-$200+ on one and it did the same. All in all I think I would have had a wonderful experience if that hadn't happened. But now I don't know if I should buy another one for my son and I to fly in it or if I should just watch him fly when he comes to me. it is lost. However, in this case the beep would not help, I don't think. AND IF I decide to buy another one, IT WILL DEFINITELY BE THIS LITTLE GUY AGAIN!
