I have a two year old Samsung 8000 series 65 inch 4k HDR TV and a new Samsung 4k Blue Ray 7000 series player with updated firmware. Regular DVDs play fine with this cable, but when I put in a Black Panther 4K disc, it plays for a few minutes, then pauses for a few seconds to buffer, then plays a few more minutes to finish my old HDMI cable behaved the same way, but the third cable I tried, which was also 8-10 years old, plays a 4k movie with no gaps. I also noticed that the end of these HDMI cables seem to fit the HDMI jacks quite loosely. I didn't bother sending them back but I doubt I'll use them and I won't be buying them again.
