Pretty happy with this purchase. The measurements were difficult. But this person who sent an email made sure they were right. I agree that 'dimming' is not perfect and can be disappointing for some. The external mount (all I can find) is a full inch from the case. They could be placed 1/2 inch closer, but there's no way they'll be flush. For true blackout, you need blackout curtains. Installation was so easy! BUT the included screws are of poor quality. I took off 2 heads. So expect that you might have to buy some screws. I've heard this from other reviewers and in Shade reviews from several other companies. My other complaint is that the shadow feathers aren't adjusted to hang at the same length. You can see where they are halfway up in the photo, but the middle one doesn't hang as much as the other two. It's a minor complaint, unless there were two shades that didn't go together. Maybe there is a way to set it up, but I haven't tried it. In general they work and look as expected. For the price they are as decent as you would expect.
