The Arrow 1851 Boys Aroflex Suit Set is an attractive suit that is comfortable to wear. My son often wears costumes as he is a professional magician and often performs for corporate audiences. We buy suits every year as it is still growing and we have realized that all suits are not created equal. The Arrow stretch suit set is one of his favorites as it is true to size, comfortable and not itchy, and has a very flattering cut that makes him look slightly taller and slimmer. The material is true black and has a slight "striped" appearance in certain lighting/close-ups. It's not visible in any light, but definitely noticeable in bright light. The stitching is clean and well finished and we haven't had any issues with loose threads or bad material. What I didn't like about this suit is that the pants are not adjustable. There are no button-down elastics or "back elastics" on the inside of the pants. So if your child is that weird "in between sizes" that makes you want to pull your pants up a little, you can't do that with this pair. Also, the suit is only dry-cleanable, so you can't just toss it in the wash when your kid inevitably gets it dirty. We ended up accidentally sending the pants for a wash and they seemed to wash really well - in that sense they say dry clean only, but you can get away with washing them at your own risk (and it worked out great for us). ) ). All in all, for the current price, this is a solid suit that's worth wearing if you intend to use it a few times.
