I bought these antennas based on a 9db power rating and used them on a Netgear R7000 router. For the most part, the increase in signal strength I felt was negligible compared to the standard antenna. I had to use a copper plate as a reflector behind the antenna to give it a boost. The only other issue that bothered me was that there was quite a bit of rattling inside the case. The view feels light. Inside is a copper flash board that's actually less than half the length of the plastic case. One wonders why there is so much dead space. Probably a marketing decision to make the antenna higher than necessary. All in all, for $10 an antenna, you get what you pay for.
