The task was to remake the network to gigabit and, incidentally, to 8022022n. I have 10 Ethernet tails at home and more are planned, so I settled on the option where the tails are connected to a simple and reliable Upvel US-16G L2 switch, and the switch is connected to a router with gigabit ports. Probably, the RB951G-2HnD model would also fit, but it was necessary in a metal case, with ventilation in adequate places, in order to assemble a semblance of a mini-rack. For a long time I chose between the Rackmount model without Wi-Fi and this one. I reasoned that if a full-size rack is needed, I will always have time to make a rackmount from a router; a rack model wastes a lot of free space, and WiFi only costs an additional $10. The LCD screen on the rack model is more convenient, but in practice it is not really needed. 4 points because there are small problems. I suspect that they are solvable with the right settings, but I'm not completely sure. I will solve them - I will put 5.
