These are great work pants, but expensive They are very comfortable like an old pair of cotton sweatpants, but expensive. They look professional in the office with a polo shirt, but I can easily respond to a field situation that requires flexibility including climbing and hopping, etc. However, the fit and finish isn't up to par for the price. Loose threads all over with loose ends sticking out on almost all seams. For $100 a pair they need to clean up the quality control on those seams. That's the 3 stars. The pants are very comfortable and functional, but overpriced given the poor QC. If I didn't have a clothing supplement from work, I'd likely purchase another product. I have other 5.11 pants that are good quality, but they look and feel more tactical, and now in my career I want to look more like a desk jockey than a soldier in BDU's, and the Apex does that while still giving me the flexibility to deploy to the field from the office and perform the mission at a moments notice, unlike a pair of Dockers chinos or blue jeans.
