Bought to compare with the Apple Pencil. At work I use an Apple Pencil and an iPad Pro. I was hoping it would be comparable to my home iPad. I was trying to decide whether to upgrade my iPad Air 2 to a new iPad that works with the iPad.1 Pencil. It is shorter than the Apple Pencil. It's still convenient to hold the base just for size.2. It's heavier than the Apple Pencil. Not critical, but just not that comfortable after prolonged use. However, the Apple Pencil actually looks cheaper. This stylus feels luxurious. Besides, it just looks great.3. Finally, the most important feature is responsiveness. After two full days of use I can say that it works better than any other branded pen except the Apple Pencil. That being said, the Apple Pencil wins here. I had to try several times to recognize certain touches. If I had never used an Apple Pencil I would be 100% satisfied. Like me, I've missed it. In general. for the price it doesn't get any better. You can buy 1/2 dozen of these for the price of an Apple Pencil. However, if you have the cash, the Apple Pencil is the way to go. As for me, I will eventually break and upgrade my personal device. For now it's working well enough to put off as my iPad Air 2 does everything except allow me to use an Apple Pencil for now.
