I hated my hair for so long because it takes forever to style. I don't have nice wavy/curly hair, I get a lot of fuzz on my head when I let my hair dry naturally. Products help with this, but nothing tames it enough. I blow dried my hair and then straightened and straightened it with a flat iron for 14 years. Total styling time was about 30 minutes (after letting my hair air dry until damp). I ordered this, convinced it wouldn't work, but wanted to at least try. I literally fell in love with them from the first use! Laying time reduced to 15 minutes! It works so well that when I don't feel like combing my hair before bed, I go to bed with a wet head and it straightens out in literally 8 minutes (in the photos, my hair is straightened after I've combed it with a slept with my head wet)! The brush is very easy to use and does its job well. I still part my hair but I only have to part it into 4 parts instead of 8-10. I run it through the sections I'm combing through and then when I'm done I run it through my hair as if I'm combing it and then run the brush under my hair to make sure it doesn't get weird falls out. This is the best styling tool I've ever bought and I'm no longer afraid to style my hair, I'm really looking forward to it. I use it on the highest setting 450° but I find it's not as damaging as an iron. ***Updated 6/4/19*** I started using it at 390° instead of 450° and it still works great at this lower heat setting. I still love this comb and still look forward to coloring my hair!
