At first I thought it was really strong. The table clamp has 2 jaws and is wider than usual so it is durable. The two lower arms can slide up and down the main shaft, but the hinges only swing sideways, not up and down like some monitor arms. This limits the adjustment options somewhat as you can't just pick it up and lift it up, but at the same time you don't have the "hanging problem" that many monitor arms have.
