Review on 12V Adapter Cable for Garmin Devices by Shawn Reiter

Nuvi 755 12V adapter cable

During a long drive my Nuvi 755t lost power. I fiddled with the cable and the GPS flickered on and off so I went to a big store to buy a replacement. Garmin, in its boundless wisdom, has stopped using this type of connection (according to the kid in the store). All they had was a mini USB adapter which I bought. Well, the 755t behaves differently when connected via USB - it has a low volume and is darker because it thinks it's connected to a home computer. So I ordered this cable with fast delivery. It arrived quickly but didn't solve my problem. I emailed the seller and he suggested that the problem may be related to the outlet. So I ordered one from Revain and it arrived quickly too. The problem was in the socket. Both my old and new cables worked perfectly afterwards. Bottom line - this is a good cable from a good seller. Yes, I know it's not a traffic receiver. It costs a fifth the cost of a traffic receiver and will restore and run your GPS, except for traffic alerts, which frankly aren't that useful. So many thanks to Revane for making this available.
